Our Mission
Providing Essentials, Raising Awareness, and Breaking Stigma
As first-year students at Queen’s University, we were struck by the large number of individuals experiencing homelessness in Kingston and the lack of accessible support for their basic needs. Seeing this gap firsthand, we founded Kingston Homeless Alliance (KHA) to provide essential items like socks, blankets, and food while fostering a community of care and dignity. Beyond providing aid, we are committed to sharing their stories on social media to break the stigma surrounding homelessness, amplify their voices, and inspire action. Our mission is to bridge the gap in support services, raise awareness, and work toward meaningful change—because everyone deserves comfort, respect, and a helping hand.
